Saving Souls
.... “But I’m not a Convicted Christian.” Charles turned his back on the lengthening queue outside the hall of residence telephone booth.
“It’s Committed Christian, actually;” said Claudia. “No more am I. But that’s the whole point, apparently. According to Elspeth, the idea is to save a few lost souls during the course of the weekend, as well as preaching to the converted.”
Charles wasn’t at all sure he wanted his soul saved.
In fact he didn’t feel he’d invested nearly enough time and effort into losing it yet. But he was definitely interested in spending some rare quality time in Claudia’s company and specifically in Claudia’s bed. So he agreed to go ....
